Will my acne ever go away?

I've had acne since I was in 5th grade. Now that I'm about to a Junior in high school, I'm getting really restless. In 5-7th grade my acne was terrible. It died down a little when in entered high school, but I still get really really bad breakouts and my acne has never gone away completely. It's not just bumps on my face. I have these weird red dots that look to be underneath the skin and I don't know what they are. Are those also pimples or something else? I've literally tried everything. I've given up on the dermatologist completely. Am I ever going to grow out of this?
