I miss being single, should I break up with my boyfriend?

Me and my boyfriend are great together but this is the longest, most serious relationship I've ever been in. I'm naturally a free spirit, I've changed schools a couple of times out of restless boredom. Now I'll be heading off to university and I want to enjoy the single life, I really miss the excitement, but will I regret breaking up with my boyfriend?
