Help!! My parents Shihtzu is doing something weird!?

Dogs have nervous ticks like humans do. my dads dog walks around in circles when hes in a strange new place the first couple of nights. but my aunts dog does the same thing that your parents dog is doing... they usually stop when you pet them and let them know its okay... the dog is just nervous
