Please Help me with this?

Whenever I go to a friend's house, or a hotel... somewhere else besides MY bed to sleep in.. I never sleep and what makes it worse is knowing that my friend is sound asleep.. and Im restless. It's pretty much ruined my summer.. every time a girl asks me if I can come over and spend the night, I have to make up an excuse! and they cant come over to my house because my mom always says "WHY DO THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO SLEEP HERE?" and if you've ever not slept a whole night, you know how depressing it is laying in the dark, wide awake... knowing everybody else is in a deep sleep. please help, or give advice. thanks. :/
