Is it normal for a hospital to send you home after a surgery bleeding a steady drip?

I am a 23 yr old female who has had problems with fissures in my colon for 2 yrs and finally got a partial internal sphincterotomy done Friday to fix what doc said was a very bad fissure. Later after surgery to find out they were so bad they were past being a fissure and were more like ulcers ( 2 of these instead of 1) I woke up shortly after surgery and they r wanting to send me home and I asked to go pee first and when I didn't come out of bathroom the nurse came in and saw me standing there freakin out on how much blood was drizzling all over the floor. She proceeded to wheel me out to my car regardless and when I got home I noticed my whole back side bloody and was standing in bathroom with blood dripping everywhere ....called a diff nurse and she said they shouldn't have sent me home ... should I try to do something about this or ignore this...
